What's New in May: Live Location Maps, Recurring Parking, and Faster Reporting

We shipped a lot in May. Here's a roundup of what's new across CountIQ people counting and ParkEase parking automation — and what each change means for your day-to-day.

CountIQ: see more, report faster

Four updates make it quicker to understand what's happening across your sites.

• See every location on one live map. A new map view shows all your sites at once. Busier locations appear as larger bubbles, a heatmap highlights your hotspots, and clicking any site reveals its current numbers, recent trend and a zone-by-zone breakdown — without leaving the page.
• A simpler dashboard for store teams. A new retail dashboard built for the people on the floor, with a short guided tour the first time you open it. Charts now show comparison series and display values directly on the bars.
• Reporting that flexes to your question. Compare the same weekday across different months, drill into a single day, and use new comparison templates. Reports — especially rolling 12-month views — now load noticeably faster.
• No more gaps when a camera goes offline. If a camera drops out, CountIQ now backfills the missing data automatically once it's back, so your reports stay complete. Outages are clearly flagged and easy to dismiss once resolved.

ParkEase: less admin, smarter alerts

This month's ParkEase updates take the manual work out of managing regular parkers and cut the noise from your alerts.

• Set up your regular parkers once. New recurring and permanent bookings let you reserve bays for tenants and staff on a repeating schedule. The booking appears in the member app and you manage it all from admin — no rebooking every week.
• Assign bays, and know when someone's in the wrong one. Assign a specific bay and area to each booking and link parking tenants to their bays. If a vehicle parks where it shouldn't, you get an alert.
• Quieter, smarter alerts. Choose who receives alert emails, add a comment when you acknowledge one, and get notified the moment a device goes offline. We've also suppressed noisy "unknown plate" alerts, so the notifications you get are the ones that matter.
• Faster setup and admin. Invite users in bulk from a CSV, turn a PDF floor plan into a live map, reset occupancy counts when you need a clean slate, and open gates straight from the dashboard.
