Heavy Vehicle Compliance

Safety is vital in working with heavy vehicle deliveries. All parties must take reasonable steps to prevent breaches of mass, dimension, loading and registration laws.

Smart Spaces

Creating public places that people want to use is a challenge. Use data to build public spaces that people embrace and are sustainable.

Dock Automation

Managing access control and deliveries is a high volume and complex task. From bookings and approvals to delivery acceptance, automation is the key to reducing costs.

Heavy Vehicle Compliance

Heavy Vehicle

The Chain of Responsibility (CoR) laws require that everyone who employs a heavy vehicle driver, from the business that delivers the goods to the place where they are delivered, is held accountable for safety. All parties must take adequate measures to prevent mass, dimension, loading, speed, and fatigue violations.

Penalties for individuals range from $300,000 to $3 million for corporations. For example, entering the vehicle condition, checking the licence plate, and rego for trucks and trailers on a website, weight, and driver credentials might take up to 5 minutes. With a large number of checks taking place each day, there is a potential for human error.

Weighbridge information is gathered and linked together through our solution. At the front and back of the weighbridge, cameras detect the truck and trailer plates and link them together. Every state and territory in Australia is then checked in real time to determine if a vehicle is registered and has the correct registration date. We offer a camera to help you monitor non-secured and contaminated loads. It updates all relevant data directly on our dashboard so that you can instantly see the most up-to-date information.

The system will alert you if a plate is expired, so you can refuse entry to your site and reduce your risk of a violation complaint. The cost of managing COR can be reduced by automating manual tasks with AI, resulting in higher productivity and a more clear record of COR compliance.

Smart Spaces

city-park

It’s a challenge to create public areas that individuals want to visit. Every community and area have their own problems and opportunities. From our clients, we view e-mobility, traffic congestion, asset planning, and event organisation as possibilities.

Public infrastructue planning and funding is a complex and lengthy process that often requires commitments and grants from multiple levels of government.

Building the business case and implementation plans requires data and an understanding of how people currently use a space and how the future space will enrich peoples lives.

Our solution generates information from the physical world by using cameras. You can either install new cameras or collect data from existing ones, if you want. We can collect data on people, cars, buses, trucks, vans, and bicycles. On-camera or on-site servers process all video data to maintain privacy and security.

You can view key data such as area counts, direction, occupancy, dwell time, heatmaps, and parking time in our cloud dashboard. You can reduce the time it takes to collect data and strengthen your grant application or business case. You can see how people interact with your new smart space after projects, and you can quantify the value and improvements.

Dock Automation

loading dock

A human must be involved at every stage of the procedure, which is a high-volume, complex process. From booking to approval to delivery acceptance, the procedure is typically manual. Every dock and parking lot layout is different, so you need a system that is adaptable and able to handle the complexity.

A dockmaster or guard has traditionally been present at the site during delivery hours to manually process deliveries. A free-flowing dock allows no data collection on compliance and safety, as bookings occur. This manual procedure of entering and inspecting the delivery, as well as confirming the driver’s credentials, can take up to four minutes. It is a large cost for inspecting hundreds of deliveries per day.

Dock AI systems are able to fully automate valid bookings. The boom-gate will be automatically open after scanning a booking if the licence plate has been pre-filled. On exit, the plate is used to complete the booking and open the boom-gate, with over 90% of bookings requiring no human involvement. All data is live on our dashboard, providing the best tool to drastically reduce human input, track all bays, and see all bookings.

If a booking overstays or a vehicle is overheight, our system will instantly detect and notify you. Automatically, the system will send notifications if a delivery overstays or if the vehicle is overheight. This can reduce the cost of managing deliveries, improve productivity, and provide clear evidence for compliance and safety.
